fea WEBINAR »Global Risks from the US Perspective«

04.06.2025 17:00 - 18:00

Webinar

Geopolitical tensions dominate headlines across the globe with little evidence that they will subside in the near term. With US tariffs having reached the highest level in decades, trade and capital flows are being rewired and business models put under stress.

Firms‘ exposure to possible future geopolitical scenarios, preparedness and ability to respond varies widely and results in a highly complex situation for supervisory board members.

We invite you to our webinar on June 4, 2025, during which we will explore the implications of the changing geopolitical landscape for European businesses.

The event will start with a short keynote speech about the political landscape in the US and reflections on how the coming weeks and months might unfold. It will briefly cover the key policy tools (e.g. tariffs and coercion measures) which are being used by the US and key trading partners in the EU, UK and China.

The Q&A part of the event will focus on the strategic implications for EU businesses, including understanding the impact of geopolitical risk scenarios as part of company planning and budgeting processes and increasing the preparedness of executive teams to respond to future developments.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Douglas Elliott, Partner and senior Policy expert at Oliver Wyman, based in the New York office. The Q&A session will be moderated by Cornelia Neumann, Partner and expert for geopolitical risk management at Oliver Wyman.

The session will be moderated by our Board Member Ulrich Beck.

Please note that this event has a limited capacity and priority is given to fea members.

After confirmation of participation, you will receive an access link and can join the session via your browser without having to download an app.

We look forward to your participation! If you need any further information, please feel free to contact us in advance!
